One day, a curious little rabbit wonders what happiness really is. To find the answer, he sets out to meet the creatures of the forest. And to each one he asks, “Tell me, what is happiness?”
Each has a different answer: for the flower, it’s feeling the sun’s rays gently warming its petals; for the great oak, it’s feeling beautiful and majestic; for the bird, it’s soaring freely through the sky; and for the bear, it’s scratching his back against a tree and feasting on honey.
After also meeting some field mice and a butterfly, it is with a child that he finally realizes happiness can take many forms.

This beautifully illustrated picture book is filled with gentleness and tenderness, as we follow the little rabbit who, like children and adults alike, wonders what happiness truly is—that emotion we all seek.
